Psychotherapy has been shown to be the safest and most effective treatment for those struggling with depression and anxiety and yet a majority of people are choosing to go the medication route. Although I’m not against medication and think it is warranted in many instances – I think there is a huge gap between what people might prefer and benefit from, and what they are getting.
